Non-Surgical Dental Implants
Non-surgical dental implant treatment is a state-of-the-art technique for implant placement offered without surgical intervention and stitching. Unlike the traditional method procedures, not only the implant can be placed in just 1 day through computer-guided 3D viewing tech, but also ensures faster healing.

Non-surgical dental implant treatment is a state-of-the-art technique that offers patients a minimally invasive option for implant placement. Using computer-guided 3D viewing technology, the implant can be placed in just one day without traditional surgical procedures.  The modeling process usually starts with thoroughly examining the patient’s oral cavity using dental X-rays, CT scans, or other imaging techniques. 3D images generated by an aided computer with the help of specialized software ensure the photos of the patients for the dentist have ideas regarding teeth and jawbone condition.

A non-surgical dental implant, or flapless surgery, offers several advantages over the traditional implant treatment system, including reduced patient discomfort, bleeding, and infection risks. By eliminating the need for stitches, tissue injuries, and congestion are significantly reduced.

In addition, patients who undergo non-surgical implant treatment typically experience less pain and discomfort than those who undergo traditional implant surgery. Overall, non-surgical dental implants represent a modern approach to implant placement that offers improved outcomes and a more comfortable patient experience.

What are Non-Surgical Dental Implants?

Our clinic uses advanced X-ray, 3D Tomography, and computer-guided dental implants to ensure excellent and satisfactory results. This advanced system allows us to determine the most suitable implant for the patient’s oral structure without requiring surgical incisions. To ensure precise placement, we take a detailed X-ray and 3D tomography of the patient’s jawbone and dental structure before the procedure.

We also use 3D digital shape devices to take dental measurements, providing our dentist with detailed information about the patient’s mouth. All this information is then processed digitally using a computer-guided system, providing both the patient and the dentist with comprehensive information about the procedure and facilitating the decision-making process related to the treatment. This approach ensures optimal results and improved patient outcomes.

It’s worth noting that computer-guided dental implants are a minimally invasive procedure that significantly reduces tissue injuries and infection risks compared to traditional implant treatments. Additionally, advanced technology allows for a faster and more comfortable patient experience, as the procedure can often be completed in just one day with little to no discomfort or bleeding. While the non-surgical or another name guided-implant system causes less blood loss during the dental implant treatment, which includes more patient satisfaction, it also reduces the number of visits to the clinic that may cause any infection risk. The other side benefit of non-surgical methods is faster healing time, that all patients would like to have.

We are proud of having the ability to present non-surgical tooth implant solutions as part of numerous services to our patients in our clinic, providing the highest quality with high-tech implementation.

Non-Surgical Dental Implants Process

The non-surgical dental implant process begins with the patient’s teeth being measured and ends with the implant being placed on the patient’s jaw and tooth structure, then transferred to the digital environment. This process relieves our patients’ concerns about personal dental treatments at Akar Dental. In addition, we carry out the entire process by consulting with and providing information to our patients.

The equipment used in non-surgical dental implants constitutes the main components of the treatment. First, a computer-guided system that provides editing on X-ray film, a special transfer key, and stents are the products that help our doctors in this process.

The non-surgical dental implant process consists of 4 steps:

1- Measurement of teeth and jaw

A dental tomography of the patient is taken via panoramic tomography. As a result of this procedure, while the patient’s dental anatomy is fully discovered, it becomes possible to evaluate the bone structure and determine existing health problems. This procedure, performed by our surgeons in our clinic, provides preliminary information about the complications that may arise related to the implant process and prevents these situations.

2- Examination of the measurement results by transferring tomography to the digital environment

The digital examination of measurement results is critical to the non-surgical dental implant process. Computer-guided systems utilize the advanced technology to create 3D models of the patient’s dental structure, allowing for precise implant placement planning. Using digital imaging techniques such as X-rays and 3D tomography, dentists can create a virtual map of the patient’s mouth and identify potential complications before the procedure begins.

3- Performing the implant placement process in a 3D digital environment via a 3D model

The position of the implant is determined digitally using a translucent acrylic base plate and a dental mold obtained from the patient’s mouth. This process allows the dentist to plan the precise location and angle of the implant before the surgery. The 3D imaging method ensures that the implant is placed accurately according to the pre-planned position, and reduces the risk of implant failure due to incorrect positioning.

4- Placement of implants

After the alignment and positioning of the implant have been determined digitally, the placement process is performed using a computer-guided system. During the surgery, a small hole is made in the gums using a laser or drill.  The implant screw is embedded into the pre-planned area, which is the jawbone, and then the other part of the implant called the abutment, is placed on top of the implant screw. The drilled area on the gum due to implant placement is closed and left for healing, which includes several weeks or months.

It should be needed for healing time because the implant screw needs to fuse with the jawbone during osseointegration. Once the implant has fully integrated, the cover screw is removed, and a healing cap or abutment is attached. This allows the gums to heal around the abutment, creating a stable foundation for the final dental restoration, such as a crown or bridge, to be attached.

At Akar Dental, we understand that dental implants can last a lifetime, but incorrect positioning can significantly shorten their lifespan. That’s why we use non-surgical dental implants to ensure the precise positioning of your implants without incisions or stitches. Our advanced technology and computer-guided systems allow us to place implants perfectly, increasing their longevity and reducing the risk of complications. With non-surgical dental implants, you can rest assured that your implant placement process will be efficient, accurate, and comfortable.

What are the Advantages of a Non-Surgical Implant?

The advantages of non-surgical dental implants are that the procedure takes place without stitches, differentiating this treatment from the traditional implant system. Unlike conventional implant methods, the gum is not incision in this method, which heals faster. Therefore, non-surgical dental implant treatment is one of the holistic alternatives to dental implants.

Since there is no incision, the surgeon does not perform a stitch. Thus, the post-treatment process is much more comfortable due to the absence of stitches, the source of most pain felt after dental implants. Other advantages of non-surgical dental implants include the following:

  • The implants used in this treatment method are more aesthetic and functional.
  • The probability of infection, bleeding, and swelling is relatively low.
  • The implant positioning process is much more accurate.
  • It is a treatment method that gives quick results.

When non-surgical implants are performed, a small hole is made in the patient’s gum instead of an incision. Because this procedure is completed by our specialist surgeons using a punch, the implant transfer to the area is performed. Instead of permanent crowns, temporary teeth are given to the patient to eliminate the aesthetic concerns and to provide functional mouth activities due to implant treatment area is needed after the placement healing time taking 3-4 months.

On your second visit to our clinic after recovery time, the final step is the Impression of the permanent teeth crowns of the patient is taken with a 3D Shape scanner by the dentist, which allows the dentist to reach very detailed points and increases implant functionality. The impression is then taken to the laboratory, where the crowns are produced. Then, tailor-made crowns are specifically produced to fit the patient’s mouth, matching their natural teeth color. Once the crown is ready, the dentist cements them onto the abutment, part of the implant that protrudes above the gum line.

The crowns, which have natural teeth appearance and function, allow the patient to chew and speak effectively. After getting your implants, you should maintain good oral hygiene habits to ensure the crown’s longevity and increase the overall success of the non-surgical dental implant procedure.

The crowns are placed during the patient’s second visit to our clinic, healing period. Then, the implant is mounted with the crowns created in a lab setting. In this way, a replicate non-surgical tooth-replacement system is operated, with a high recovery rate and a comfortable recovery process. Although the procedure takes about 10-15 minutes for each implant, we ensure that the procedure becomes much more comfortable by applying local or sedation anesthesia that we offer to our patients concerned about the treatment.

Who is Suitable for a Non-Surgical Implant?

The patient’s jaw structure must be healthy and intact for computer-guided dental implant surgery. In addition, patients are eligible for treatment if they don’t have a general health problem or if the health conditions requiring implant treatment do not prevent the non-surgical dental implant treatment method.

The mouth film performed with 3D devices examines whether the patient’s bone and gum tissue and other factors are healthy. Thus it is decided whether the patients who come to our clinic are suitable for non-surgical dental implant treatment.

Non-Surgical Implants in Turkey

Non-surgical dental implant treatment is an advanced and highly technological procedure offered at Akar Dental Clinic in Turkey. Our patients’ suitability for non-surgical implant treatment is evaluated through panoramic imaging. The treatment is performed in our dental operating rooms, ensuring completely hygienic conditions. At our clinic, we prioritize providing a personalized dental implant experience while offering our patients various advantages, including Antalya’s beauty and benefits. The procedure involves two visits, with the screw inserted first and the crown added during the second visit.

After dental implant treatment, aftercare instruction is provided to our patients, including information about what should be avoided during the healing time for implant usage life to be much more. Also, our doctor’s recommendations, such as periodic dental check-ups, oral hygiene, and proper brushing and flossing, play an essential role in having healthy implants. With our budget-friendly non-surgical dental implant cost advantage and customer-priority treatment approach, we strive to provide our patients with the best dental implant experience.

The non-surgical dental implant is also known as computer-guided implant treatment, and implant placement is performed by positioning the implant through 3D Tomographic dental simulation including usage of digital system with advanced computer software without making any incisions or stitches.

Digital guided implant surgery, which stands for non-surgical dental implant treatment, is completely reliable and has a very high success rate because 3D volumetric dental and oral implant positioning simulations are created and performed flawlessly. Dental tomographs taken in our clinic determine that the patient’s gingiva, bone tissue, and jawbone structure are suitable for treatment. Then a tremendously successful implant placement procedure is performed thanks to this procedure, without causing an iatrogenic artifact.

In treating non-surgical dental implants, we apply one of the anesthesia options to our patients: sedation, local anesthesia, or general anesthesia. Therefore, the patient does not feel anything during the treatment, and may only feel minimal pain afterward. Non-surgical dental implant treatment is more comfortable than traditional implant forms because no incisions or stitches are used, and the healing process is quicker.

One of the determining factors in the application of dental implants is that the gums are healthy. Thanks to the bone grafting application, the patient’s oral structure is made suitable for the implant. But this treatment is a form of the standard dental implant treatment and isn’t a non-surgical dental implant.

A non-surgical dental implant is a minimally invasive procedure involving placing a dental implant without making an incision in the gum tissue.

The implant placement is guided by advanced 3D imaging and computer-aided technology, which allows for precise placement without incision.

Patients with sufficient jawbone density and good oral health are good candidates for non-surgical dental implants.

For the implant-needing area, local anesthesia, general anesthesia, and sedation anesthesia methods can be used according to the patient’s wishes. Generally, local anesthesia for non-surgical implant treatment is enough to prevent patients from feeling any pain. Some mild discomfort or swelling may occur afterward, but this can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.

This type of implant treatment for non-surgical solutions generally takes 1-2 hours. The number of implants, it may show changes specific to the patient.

The drilled area on the gum due to implant placement is closed and left for healing time, which includes several weeks or months, generally 3-6 months.

If non-surgical dental implants have the proper care and usage, such as flossing, brushing, or dental check-ups, they can be used for a lifetime.
